MPlayer Wii 0.03 Released

rOn has released an updated version of MPlayer Wii which now includes USB support.

Changelog
v0.03 (07/14/08):

* happy french bastille day!
* added USB storage support (USB reading is dead slow unfortunately, only good for MP3 files)
* added volume controls (Up/Down buttons on the wiimote)
* added wiimote buttons repeat during playback
* added preliminary test network streaming (shoutcast and mms)
* longer filename display in the file selection screen
* fix for widescreen aspect ratio (uses the Wii display settings)
* more audio playback fixes

WiiKey Update 1.9s

As for some older news, the most recent update for the WiiKey chip is 1.9s and was released on March 27.

Benq iXtreme 1.41 Rev 2 Non-Stealth Multispeed

A new firmware has been released for Xbox 360 Benq drives, however only for non-stealth users (not LIVE safe).

Dark_Alex releases PSP v3.71 M33-4 firmware

Dark_Alex is back once again with a new version of his awesome custom firmware for use with the PSP. The latest build v3.71 M33-4 includes a bugfix to do with Multidisc PSX games and adds support for decrypted multidisc PSX games created with popstation_md (include with the released).

Wiikey update 1.9g (as in galaxy!) beta released!

Wiikey developers have released a new flash update for wiikey modchips that fixes detection issues with Super Mario Galaxy.

They are calling the update 1.9g a BETA HOTFIX and "comes with absolutely no warranty or guarantees. Use it at your own risk!"

New iXtreme firmware 1.4 Released for ALL VERSIONS

Commodore4eva has done it again with his latest version of the iXtreme 1.4 firmware for all 360 drive versions (except v78/79 hitachi, which maximus will release shortly)..

This version is currently 'Live' safe and if planing to use live you should upgrade to this version ASAP to avoid getting banned.

Wii Firmware Update 3.0

Nintendo has released a new Firmware Update for the Wii. So far no one has been banned for updating with a modchip, however there are some downsides already. After upgrading to the new Nindendo 3.0 firmware, the modchips setup disks no longer work, however backups still play fine...For now.

After loading new firmware;
Wiikey setup disc will not load.
Cyclowiz firmware upgrade disk will not load.
WiiFree 2.50 config disk also not working.
